Hand over the building-site handover through AxiomBlue records

  1. Create the AxiomBlue customer and job site, then keep client, site contact, approver and payer references in the work description or supporting records. On Professional, associate the staged work with its project.
  2. Use job Description and project tickets for the accepted scope, readiness checks and current handover. Record a requested extra through Professional Variations and inspect its actual approval state before changing crew instructions.
  3. Open the relevant project/job from the next user’s account and check the current specification, outstanding decision and previous claim references. Update the outcome without treating a site contact’s attendance as commercial approval.

Name who can approve a change

Record the contracting client, invoice recipient, site access contact and the person authorised under the agreement to approve work. Confirm how instructions from other people should be handled. An informal request on site is not automatically a commercial variation.

Keep the current scope accessible alongside its history

Use references to the accepted agreement and approved changes, with current job instructions for delivery. Retain relevant drawings or documents through your controlled process and identify their version. A shared attachment does not guarantee every trade is using the current revision.

  • Contracting client and payer
  • Site contact and approval authority
  • Accepted scope and current document references
  • Approved variation references
  • Stage handover, unresolved issue and next owner

Test the handover after a changed selection

Illustrative case: the client changes a fixture while a subcontractor is preparing the next stage. Retain the request, approval and current selection, then update the delivery instruction. Confirm who has received it and what the change does to readiness. Review the commercial amount and claim separately.

Make the next visit usable from the field account

Keep lasting site detail separate from today’s scope and unresolved tasks. In AxiomBlue, the separate customer-site notes field is available in the web app; put the instructions needed by a native-app worker in the job description or tasks. Verify access from the worker’s account. Uploads need Basic or Professional; Free has customer and usage limits.

Restrict sensitive access information and share only what the person needs. Check current details with the customer instead of carrying an old instruction into every future job. Professional adds crew management and recurring job series where those suit the work.
