Use AxiomBlue for a parts-dependent repair before comparing alternatives

  1. Create the customer’s call-out job in AxiomBlue and put the fee agreement and diagnosis in Description. Record initial time, the failed part and what remains unresolved.
  2. Retain the accepted repair and part reference in the return instructions. Preview its assignment in Auto Schedule only after separately checking the part and access; the supplier estimate does not confirm the booking.
  3. Record the installed part in Materials and reconcile both visits’ time with the agreement. Inspect the invoice preview and the previous bill to see whether included call-out time is charged twice.

Start with attendance, then add the approved repair

Illustrative test: investigate a leaking mixer, quote its replacement and arrange a return when the part arrives. Record the attendance terms and repair approval. Check how each product handles a fixed repair price alongside diagnostic charges; do not let a combined job silently charge the same attendance twice.

Put a different plumber on the return visit

Have the replacement worker find the fixture, diagnosis, required part and unresolved task from their account. Check the distinction between customer contact, site address and payer. Enter a sample material record and inspect whether it lands on the correct job. A neat desktop record is insufficient if the worker cannot find it.

Test a changed day and a changed part

Move the booking after a supplier delay and review affected assignments. Inspect what the product changes and what you must tell the customer. Replace a sample part entry before invoicing and check quantities, approved scope and previous charges. A scheduled return is not proof the part or access is ready.

Price the roles and required plan, then check the handover

Ask each shortlisted vendor for the plan and total cost for your actual office and field users, workload, billing interval and devices. Include tax basis, optional messaging, payment charges, training and exports. Keep a written result for each test: worked, needs a manual step, or unavailable. A feature-list tick is not a completed test.

AxiomBlue’s Free plan supports one user within usage limits and has no uploads. Basic adds uploads; Professional adds crew skills and leave, recurring job series, variations and project tools. Check the current pricing page for the team total. Try a required Professional process in the demo and confirm access before choosing a plan.
